OHHHH DAMNNNNNN

Yes I cuss, so fucking what?!?!?!?!? Does that make me a bad person? Hell NOOOOO! I am just slightly more vocal than the rest! I struggle everyday living my life but I stick to it. I have tattoos, I LOVE my puppies and my man, and I have done many things that I know a lot of you would find questionable, but I AM NOT A BAD PERSON! I am just different!!!! 

I hope that one day people will quit judging everyone else and focus on themselves! We can ALL afford to look at ourselves in the mirror and find a few things we could fix!!!! STOP ALL OF THE HATEEEEE!!!!!

PHEWWWW! Lots of things to post about since I’ve been MIA for a few!!

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days! I have been busy living my life to the fullest that I can! However, that means I have LOTS to share about!! First things first, I shared a pretty awesome evening with my good friend Nicole and her family!! Shot roullette and a crazy amount of laughter! I woke up the next morning in the GREATEST mood!!

Then I found out I can control my TV from my phone! HOW COOL!!!

My next bit of news is a little sad, my baby boy got bit by the neighbors dog. 😦 Had a talk with the owner and hopefully all will be worked out! (just an FYI, if you knowingly have an aggressive dog, dont let it out without supervision!)

I made that trip to the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk, VA yesterday and had such a great time! There really is some amazing and beautiful pieces there. I only managed to get through about a third of the museum in a little over an hour! Needless to say I am gonna have to make my way back there!!! yayyyyy! Here are a few pieces I fell in LOVE with!

FINALLY, I took the ice bucket challenge for ALS, and I also honored a foundation with a cause close to my heart! The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation, helping those with mental illnesses. I am trying to figure out where to post it but I will update it as soon as I find out!!!

My makeup today and a few fun things!

So for today’s blog I thought I would share what I used for my makeup today!

For my foundation I used Revlon Photo Ready primer and foundation in shell. I applied the primer with my fingers and the foundation with the ELF small stipple brush. This brush is magic and make my foundation look pretty flawless!

Next I used Ulta’s fabulous face powder in fair to light with a fluffy powder brush.

Then I applied a little blush, Ulta’s cheek color in sweet cheeks. This is a sample size I got as a free gift but it is phenomenal and applies very evenly!!! I used a BH cosmetics small angled blush brush. BH cosmetics brushes are amazing and very affordable! Find them here –> http://www.bhcosmetics.com/brushes

Then I put a little highlighter on the top of my cheek bones and on the bridge of my nose with an ELF blush brush.

Now to my favorite part, EYESHADOW!! I used the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion in Eden. It is a matte, tinted primer, and helps even the eyelid and helps my eyeshadow last ALL DAY!!

For the eyeshadow I used the In the Light palette from Stila. I applied bliss at the top of my crease for a blending color. Next I applied gilded gold to the outer corner and night sky to the inner corner. I then used bliss again to blend the two shades together. I then applied bare to the brow bone and FINALLY kitten to the far inner corner to brighten it all up.

For my eyeliner I used Wet n Wild in deep blue to the top and lined the bottom lashes with it as well. Then I just used a plain black Cover Girl liner on my water line.

For my mascara I used both Maybelline Falsies in blackest black and Physician’s Formula Organic Wear in black. I applied the PF first to my top lashes and then a few coats with Maybelline, and just one coat of the PF to the bottom lashes.

And to finish it all off I used Mary Kay nourishine lipstick (I think that is what it is called) in Wild About Pink. Here is the final look!

I also wanted to share some things my best friend, Sam, sent me from Japan!! A package of awesome pencil toppers!!! A leopard Hello Kitty bag! :)) a make-up bag, and some pretty amazing chopsticks that might be to pretty to use!!! Many, many thanks to her! I can’t wait for her to transfer back into the states!!!

Really missing my love lately!

Sorry I didn’t post yesterday but life just seems to pass right on by. Let’s hope that continues so I can have my man back! 😊

Day 2 (I need to think of better names for these)

The day is over and I am sitting on the couch with the pups (as usual). Zeus has this constant need to want to lay on whatever I may be using at the time. Goof! I just enjoyed a late dinner of sauteed cod, rice and steamed green beans. YUMM I can’t wait for my love to get home so I can cook him all the yummy things I have been testing out while he is gone. 🙂

Had class again, sociology today, and the topic was on racism. The professor was courteous enough to give a warning ahead of time and say that if you were uncomfortable, to let him know and you would be excused. Needless to say only about half of the class showed up! Anyways, there was some really great discussion on the way people look at racism. Unfortunately there was one person who said some pretty uncomfortable things, but oh well, to each their own. It was a really eye opening talk though, always good to have a meaningful talk about this stuff!

Anyways…… on to my makeup for the day. While I scrolled through Instagram this morning, I saw a really great post on a simple eye makeup look and decided to try it out. (the look was from this beautiful lady http://instagram.com/genamourr)

Hmmmmm…… What to say in my first blog post??

Well, I have decided to start blogging. Since my love is on deployment and I am always finding things I want to share with people, I thought this would be the best place to do that!! (btw if you blog and have some tips on things to talk about, PLEASE let me know!)

Today I went to class, rocking my new red lipstick! The Kat Von D Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick in Underage Red. And let me tell you….. it is AMAZING! Perfect shade of red for my pale self, and it lasted all day with no touch ups. I would call that a win in the lipstick department! In class, world cultures, we had a scavenger hunt! Not going to lie, I felt 5 and it was awesome!!! Next week is a trip to the Chrysler Museum (which I will be sure to post about). After class, I did a little grocery shopping to stuff a care package for my man on the boat! I’m not counting exact days but we are in month three and I just feel like time is dragging! Now I am home snuggling on the couch with the pups about to enjoy a glass of a new wine I am gonna try! (Those of you who don’t know, I have a Pomeranian named Piper, and a Beagle named Zeus and I love them and LOVE taking pictures of them. hehe)
